Been a while since my last post, been a very busy week so hope to be back a little bit more often.
Today i'm looking at the use of equipment and try to conclude its worth. There are many different types of equipment which are available for all of the tiers in the game. However, in my opinion it really is not worth trying to fit equipment to low tier tanks with perhaps the exception of scouts that you intend to keep.
I say this mainly because the vast majority of the equipment costs a lot of money 500,000 credits for the vertical stabilizer etc etc for example so it really isn't worth paying this amount money for equipment that you are going to fit to say a tier 4 to keep for 40 battles.
A camouflage net on the other hand can be a worthwhile investment since it only cost 100,000 credits in the first place and can be removed for free thus can be used all the way up the tech tree and swapped between tanks easily.
Once you start to hit tier 7/8 on the other hand i think it is worth starting to consider the worth of fitting other equipment since you will be keeping the tank for quite a while to grind through it to the higher tiers. So what are the best options for equipment:
- Gun rammer (small, medium, large) Out of all the equipment I think that this is perhaps my favorite the 10% RoF increase can allow you to get that extra shot in and find cover again before your enemy gets a chance.
- Enhanced gun laying drive is another one I find to be useful particularly for those long shots when you don't have long to aim.
On the other hand I find ones such as enhanced suspension to be rather redundant as they cost alot of money and are only useful when you can't be bothered to buy the tracks, in my opinion its just easier to buy em.
Overall, in the later tiers i think that equipment can be very useful but not essential to do well in a game.
